Clemson Opens ACC At Louisville

Clemson tries for a 1-0 ACC start when the Tigers visit Louisville tonight in the conference opener for each team.

The Tigers (2-0 overall) play their first-ever game at Louisville and will face a Cardinals teams that’s 0-2, having scored 53 points combined in its first two games but allowing 62 in losses to Auburn in Atlanta and at home last Saturday against Houston.

Sophomore quarterback DeShaun Watson prepares to make his second road start and he’s been a big reason why the Tigers are averaging 462.5 yards per game.

Clemson’s defense will try countering Louisville head coach Bobby Petrino’s offensive mastery.

The Tigers won a thriller, 23-17, in Death Valley last season, the first-ever meeting between the two schools.

Clemson is 5-9 in prime time Thursday night games, but has won five straight.
