Crave’s Mac Daddy Food Truck to Raise Money for First Responders During Safe Kids Trident Area Event
Target – 1300 Long Grove Drive, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464
1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
On Friday, September 11, The Mac Daddy Food Truck will be outside of the Target within Seaside Farms in Mount Pleasant, alongside the Mt. Pleasant Police Department sponsored “National Child Passenger Safety Week” Kickoff Event. Mount Pleasant Police, Safe Kids Trident Area, and MUSC Children’s Hospital volunteers will provide car seat inspections to help parents and caregivers correctly install car and booster seats. The Mac Daddy Crew will serve Chef Landen Ganstrom’s signature Mac ‘n’ Cheese and other delicious menu items from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. To express gratitude for the tremendous bravery our local First Responders exhibit every single day, the Mac Daddy Crew will be donating 100% of the proceeds made to a First Responder Charity of the Mt. Pleasant Police Department’s choosing, in honor of those who lost their lives and loved ones on 9/11.

Interfaith Memorial Service
Daniel Island – Philip Simmons Park
7:00 p.m.
(Philip Simmons Park is located adjacent to the Daniel Island Fire Station, 235 Seven Farms Drive, Charleston, SC  29492) This unique event is being held in conjunction with or as the initial event for the Heroes Run which will occur on 9/12/15 on Daniel Island. Should inclement weather prevent an outdoor memorial service, this event will occur at Providence Baptist Church, 294 Seven Farms Drive, Daniel Island, SC  29492.
