BENNETTSVILLE,SC — Marlboro County sheriff’s deputies say police in North Carolina arrested a man who was involved in a nightclub shooting earlier this month.
Rockingham Police arrested 19-year-old Traquan Wall of Rockingham last week, just days after a shooting at the State Line Club in Marlboro County wounded five (and the ensuing crush of people trying to flee the scene injured several more) in the early morning hours of August 16.
In addition to drug possession charges in Rockhingham, Wall is charged with five counts of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime in Marlboro County.
He is awaiting extradition to Bennettsville.
The investigation into the club shooting continues in North and South Carolina.
