Georgetown County burglary suspects behind bars, authorities say

GEORGETOWN, S.C. — Two men are behind bars in Georgetown County charged in connection to several break-ins.

Authorities say those break-ins took place in the Historic District, Willowbank and Country Club Estates on Friday, July 24.

Thomas Dylan Prince, 20, of Greenville and William John Liles, 26, of Georgetown are charged with multiple charges including receiving stolen goods and tampering with a motor vehicle.

We’re learning most of the items recovered have been identified, but authorities are asking residents in these areas to see if they are missing any items. If you are missing any items, contact the department at 843-545-4300 and ask for investigations.

We’re told more charges are expected to be handed down. We’ll keep you posted on any updates.
