Police ask for public’s help to identify man wanted for credit card fraud

CHARLESTON, SC – The Charleston Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted for credit card fraud.

The victim contacted police Wednesday July 22 to report that several credit cards had been stolen from his wallet inside his truck while golfing.  The victim found two fraudulent charges at local businesses.  The suspect used a Visa to purchase over $8,000 in goods at Best Buy and another card was used to purchase over $2,000 in goods at an Apple Store.

Police found no damage to the victim’s truck because it was left unlocked.
