ORANGEBURG, SC – The Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office’s fifth annual National Night Out celebration is here again.
This year more than 30 vendors, a big game truck, praise and line dancers, cloggers, food and soft drinks, face painting and a fireworks display are just a portion of the events planned for Tuesday, Aug. 4 at the Prince of Orange Mall.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. Together, we are making that happen.
The campaign enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community and provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
Last year, more than 500 community residents attended the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office event, which kicks off at 6 p.m. and is scheduled to conclude around 9 p.m.
