Charleston County EMS Chief placed on administrative leave

From shootings to birthing babies, Don Lundy has seen much of what it means to take care of people. Follow him as he starts in 1974 as a dispatcher for a private ambulance service, obtains his EMT and Paramedic license and eventually the role of Chief of The Charleston County EMS in South Carolina

The Charleston County Emergency Medical Services Chief, Don Lundy, has been placed on temporary administrative leave.

County officials tell News 2 that Lundy is on temporary leave with pay while the county investigates a Human Resources matter.  They would not provide any further details.

Lundy recently published a book titled ‘Paramedic of the Heart’ that focuses on the thing’s he has seen in his profession which began in 1974.
