Georgetown, SC – Agents with the 15th Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) along the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office arrested three individuals, Tuesday, who were engaged in a street level heroin transaction.
Agents, working along with the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgetown Police Department to address sales of Heroin in Georgetown County, observed Clarence Joseph Thomas, Adrian Akeem Cooper and Jodi Michelle Lambert engaged in a street level drug transaction on Highmarket Street in Georgetown.
Arrested with charges pending:
– Clarence Joseph Thomas, DOB 11/11/1965, 107 Rhodus Avenue, Andrews, SC.
– Adrian Akeem Cooper, DOB 1/22/1989, 28 Nate Drive, Georgetown, SC.
– Jodi Michelle Lambert, DOB 12/27/1972, 70 Adman Avenue, Andrews, SC.
All three individuals were arrested and Agents recovered 5 bags of Heroin from Cooper. Cooper is charged with Possession with the intent to Distribute (PWID) Heroin as well as PWID Heroin within ½ mile of a school or Park.
Both Thomas and Lambert were charged with Conspiracy to violate Drug Laws and providing False Information to Police. All three are being held in the Georgetown County Detention Center pending bond hearings.
The 15th Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit, Georgetown Office, is funded by a SC Department of Public Safety grant. The DEU is comprised of numerous agencies with the 15th Judicial Circuit. Contributing agencies include:
