Mount Pleasant Police Officer, Hannah Howard has been awarded the Town Employee of the Month for saving the life of an unresponsive man in May of this year.
On May 5, Howard was sent to a home for a man that had collapsed and had stopped breathing. When she arrived on the scene, the man didn’t have a pulse and wasn’t responding. Howard immediately performed CPR until EMS arrived and took over. The patient regained consciousness before he was taken to a local hospital.
The Mount Pleasant Police Department says that “Howard’s quick action saved the gentleman’s life. She was recognized on June 9th during the Town Council meeting.
