The City of North Charleston is launching a new monthly concert series called “Rockin’ the River” at Riverfront Park this summer.
The first-ever outdoor live music event will hold it’s first concert on Thursday, June 4th with beach music from The Tams.
On Thursday July 2, Sgt. Submarine will play. On Thursday, August 6th, Bootless will perform. The concert series will end with a performance by Plane Jane on Thursday, September 3rd.
There will be food trucks and a beer and wine garden set up for the concerts each month.
“There is nothing better than great company and a picturesque view of the Cooper River on a summer evening,” said North Charleston Mayor Keith Summey. “Throw in a little beach music and you are bound to have a good time. Bring out your family and friends to Rockin’ the River at our beautiful Riverfront Park.”
