The 5th Annual Community WALK AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE will take place on Saturday April 12, 2014, at St. Johns High School Running Tracks, 1518 Main Road, Johns Island, SC, at 8:30 a.m..
This WALK is dedicated to all victims and survivors of domestic violence. Walking a mile in someone else’s shoes gives us a better insight of what others may be going through.
The WALK starts promptly at 8:30 a.m. After a very brief Opening, we will WALK one mile around the tracks, at one’s own pace. There is no charge for this event.
The entire community and surrounding areas are invited to put on your walking shoes, call up your friends and neighbors, come on out, and WALK for a Cause – that is, bringing awareness to domestic violence and empowering victims.
