Garrett (64) of 408 Garretts Ct. in the Goose Creek area with 43 counts of ill treatment of animals, a felony, in connection with a joint investigation by Berkeley County Animal Control, the Animal Rescue and Relief Organization and the Sheriff's Office.

Deputies and volunteers also recovered the remains of what is estimated to be over two-hundred dogs that were scattered throughout the wooded area surrounding the property.
